Renton family history
I've long had correspondence with friends interested in writing the history of the Renton family. I thought it would be useful therefore, to put up the text of two short pamphlets, the first published in (I think) the 1860s, the second around 1905. I wouldn't like to swear by the reliability of either, but they are the oldest guides I know to the history of a name.
